Speech Start, LLC is a family owned and operated private center with locations in Hazlet and Fair Haven that provides individual and group speech, language, feeding, and social skills therapy to a variety of pediatric populations, ages 0-21. We pride ourselves on our wholistic approach to treatment and willingness to train and educate families of those with special needs.
We are searching for an experienced Full-time Speech-Language Pathologist who is willing to work in a contractual public school setting in West Long Branch, NJ. Full time school district with hours being 8:00-3:00 pm – 5 days/week.
Therefore, experience with speech, language and feeding disorders in children and teens ages 2-15 is required! Candidates must have experience working with individuals with diagnoses including but not limited to: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, and Social Pragmatic Communication Disorder. Candidates must also be willing to work collaboratively with family members and other professionals in order to facilitate progress. We prefer a candidate who is PROMPT trained.
